If you're here, it's probably either because you or your child has already been identified as having a brain-based difference (ADHD, autism, PDA, dyslexia, gifted, 2E, etc), or you're frustrated, struggling, and in search of a better way to help your child, teen, college student, young adult, yourself, and your family.
In this community, our coaches GET IT and are 'In It Together' with you.
We are your allies in discovering the underlying challenges, leaning into your strengths, shifting communication patterns, building new skills, and empowering you to feel confident, achieve your goals, and have fun with your family and in life again!
All of the resources we provide are neuro-affirming, grounded in the science of the brain and based on the premise that strengthening relationships, restoring confidence, and developing strengths are equally as important as building new skills.
While the resources we provide have been developed specifically for neurodivergent individuals of all ages and parents, they benefit and can be used by anyone. Our Founder and President, Courtney Edman's, Stepstool Model for Growth and Success and our B.R.A.I.N method of coaching prioritizes acceptance, trust, patience, and emotional safety in relationships; recognizes that challenging behaviors and unmet expectations are a sign of unmet needs and lagging skills; and is grounded in collaboration, problem-solving, and individualization to meet you where you are and evolve with you as your coaching needs evolve.
We have created a variety of resources for you and your family because we know that everyone has unique learning, social, and financial preferences and needs. We hope that no matter your situation, you will find something that will provide you with meaningful information, strategies, and opportunities for you to learn how to help your family transform from a place of frustration, uncertainty, nagging, meltdowns, and chaos, to connection, calm, collaboration, problem-solving, skill-building and fun! In addition to the resources you can find here, you can also learn more about our coaching approach, model, 1:1 coaching services, newsletter, and podcast at www.2tametheshame.com.
